SaviourOps

Careers

Build the future of
incident intelligence.

Every engineering team on the planet has an on-call rotation. Most of them are miserable. We’re building the platform that fixes that — AI-powered observability and incident management that actually works. We’re early, moving fast, and looking for people who want their work to matter.

Why join now.

We’re pre-series A with early customer traction, a product that’s gaining organic adoption across DevOps teams, and a pricing model that’s genuinely 10x cheaper than the incumbents.

The observability market is $10B+ and dominated by legacy vendors with aging architectures. We’re building the version that should have existed five years ago — eBPF-first, AI-native, priced for startups and enterprises alike.

Joining now means owning large surface areas, shipping things that users see in production weekly, and helping define how the company operates. Your decisions will compound.

Equity
Meaningful early-stage options with standard 4-year vest, 1-year cliff
Remote
Work from anywhere. We overlap on IST-friendly hours but don't mandate location
Equipment
MacBook Pro (or Linux equivalent) + home office stipend
Health
Health insurance for you and dependents (India); stipend equivalent elsewhere
Learning
Annual learning budget — conferences, courses, books, whatever you need

How we work.

Move fast

We ship weekly. We prefer a good decision today over the perfect decision next quarter. Speed is a feature — for us and for the engineers who depend on us.

Customer obsession

Every engineering team that uses SaviourOps is on-call somewhere, stressed at 3am. We keep that person in mind when we make product decisions.

Engineering excellence

We hold a high bar for code quality, system design, and operational rigor. We eat our own dog food — we run SaviourOps to monitor SaviourOps.

Radical transparency

Open pricing, honest changelogs, transparent roadmap. Inside the team: no hidden priorities, no politics. Say what you think; back it with data.

Open positions

4 open roles.

Senior Go Engineer

Platform·Remote (India / global)
₹40–65 LPA / $60–90k USD (based on location and experience)

You'll own core systems: the ingestion pipeline, the eBPF agent userspace runtime, and the query execution layer built on ClickHouse. This is high-ownership work — you'll design subsystems, not just implement tickets.

What you’ll do

  • Design and build the high-throughput telemetry ingestion pipeline (currently 2M+ events/sec per node).
  • Develop and maintain the eBPF agent userspace layer (cilium/ebpf, BPF CO-RE, BTF).
  • Own the ClickHouse-backed query engine: schema design, query optimization, materialized view strategy.
  • Collaborate with the AI team to build the data foundation for incident correlation features.
  • Develop and maintain the SaviourOps agent and runtime systems — eBPF kernel programs, userspace collectors, and high-throughput pipelines.

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years of production Go. You know the scheduler, escape analysis, and the sync package well.
  • Experience with high-throughput data systems (Kafka, Pulsar, ClickHouse, or similar).
  • Familiarity with Linux kernel internals or eBPF is a strong plus.
  • Strong opinions on API design and a track record of shipping maintainable systems.
  • Comfort with observability tooling — you're the kind of engineer who adds traces to their own code.

Senior Frontend Engineer

Product·Remote (India / global)
₹35–55 LPA / $55–80k USD (based on location and experience)

You'll build the interfaces engineers use in their most stressful moments — incident timelines, alert dashboards, trace explorers. Performance, clarity, and speed under pressure are the design constraints.

What you’ll do

  • Build and maintain the SaviourOps web dashboard in Next.js with a focus on performance and usability.
  • Design and implement data-heavy UI components: log explorers, trace waterfalls, metrics charts.
  • Own the frontend build pipeline, bundle optimization, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Work directly with users and the design team to iterate on incident response workflows.
  • Establish component library patterns and contribute to the design system.

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years with React and TypeScript. You understand the rendering model deeply.
  • Experience building data visualization UI (time-series charts, tree views, diffs).
  • Strong sense of product — you notice when something is confusing before users do.
  • Familiarity with observability tools or developer tooling is a meaningful advantage.
  • Experience with Next.js App Router and server components.

Developer Advocate

Growth·Remote (India / global)
₹25–40 LPA / $45–65k USD (based on location and experience)

You're the bridge between SaviourOps and the engineering community. You'll write deep technical content, build OpenTelemetry and Kubernetes integrations, run workshops, and make it genuinely easy for engineers to get value from the platform in under 30 minutes.

What you’ll do

  • Create technical content: blog posts, tutorials, comparison guides (vs. Datadog, Grafana, SigNoz).
  • Build sample applications, integration examples, and eBPF demo projects.
  • Engage with the community on Discord and social channels — answer questions, close feedback loops.
  • Run webinars, conference talks, and live demos.
  • Maintain the developer documentation in collaboration with engineering.

What we’re looking for

  • You are an engineer first. You can read Go or Python code and understand what it does.
  • Strong technical writing — you explain complex things simply without losing accuracy.
  • Track record of published technical content with real audience reach.
  • Experience with observability tools (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar) is a strong advantage.
  • You thrive without a script — demos, talks, and live Q&A energize you.

Founding Sales Engineer

Sales·Remote (India / global)
₹30–50 LPA / $50–75k USD + commission (based on location and experience)

Our first sales hire. You'll work directly with the founders to close early enterprise deals, run technical evaluations, build the proof-of-concept playbook, and help shape the product roadmap based on what you hear from buyers.

What you’ll do

  • Lead technical discovery calls and demos with engineering and infrastructure teams.
  • Run hands-on trials and proof-of-concept deployments at prospective enterprise customers.
  • Build and maintain demo environments, technical battle cards, and competitive guides.
  • Collaborate with product to translate field feedback into roadmap inputs.
  • Own post-sales technical onboarding for early enterprise customers.

What we’re looking for

  • 3+ years in a sales engineering or technical account management role, preferably in DevOps/observability.
  • You can deploy a Docker Compose stack, read a Helm chart, and understand what a trace is.
  • Experience positioning against Datadog, New Relic, or similar platforms.
  • Strong communication skills — you can run a CEO-level conversation in the morning and a Kubernetes deep-dive in the afternoon.
  • Comfort with ambiguity: this is an early role and the playbook doesn't exist yet.

Don’t see your role?

We’re a small team and we hire opportunistically. If you’re exceptional at something that matters for building an observability platform — infrastructure engineering, ML, technical writing, community building — we want to hear from you anyway.
